Faith formation programs will begin in November at St. Anthony’s! We’ll offer monthly gatherings for learners of all ages, along with youth ministry, sacramental preparation (Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation), adult formation groups and more. Pat Finan will guide our efforts this year, and he’s eager to mentor a parishioner into a future leadership role. Pat has been a catechist (faith teacher) for most of his life, including 24 years at St. Anthony’s. He served as a parish faith formation and youth ministry leader in Florida and as coordinator of faith formation and youth ministry for the Diocese of Davenport.
Pat can relate to folks who might respond to God’s call with a healthy “Who, me?!” He’s a big believer in the old saying that “God doesn’t call the equipped. God equips the called.”
