As our nation celebrates 250 years, we pause to give thanks for the blessings God has poured upon our communities, our families, and our shared life here in Knoxville. This Fourth of July is more than fireworks and festivities—it’s a moment to remember the gift of freedom and the responsibility that comes with it.

We pray that God continues to guide America with wisdom, compassion, and courage. May we grow as a people who defend human dignity, care for our neighbors, and seek unity over division. And may our parish community be a small but bright sign of the Gospel—rooted in faith, strengthened by hope, and overflowing with charity.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we ask the Lord to bless all who serve our country, all who work for peace, and all who strive to build a future worthy of the generations to come.

We at St. Anthony’s hope everyone has a joyful, safe, and grace‑filled Independence Day.

God bless America!
