Lent brings with it so many opportunities to enrich our spiritual lives and enhance our faith in our home. We have many ideas on how to live your best Lent this year with resources in our Lenten center.  This week includes the feast of Saints Perpetua and Felicity.

Stations of the Cross will be held in the church at 6:30 p.m. every Monday evening and Adoration will be held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. throughout the Lenten season. Masks and social distancing guidelines will still be held in place. Please join us!

Diocesan Lenten Retreat: Praying the Psalms on the Way of the Cross: Virtually gather with parishioners from across the diocese on Saturday, March 27, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. to meditate on the Stations of the Cross in a different way. You are invited to virtually gather and reflect on Jesus’ Way of the Cross by using the same prayers he used in his life: the Book of Psalms. Participants will draw from their own spiritual journeys to actively consider the role of the Cross and the implications it has for living out a life of discipleship in our complex, modern world. This virtual retreat is perfect for the busy individual who would still like to treat themselves to some spiritual nourishment. No camera or microphone needed! Register online by March 8 for early-bird pricing of $20! Visit our website or contact Rosina Hendrickson, 563-888-4244 for more information.

Keep up to date on what committees are currently meeting and what they’ve been up to by checking out their minutes, available in our online storage box here. Currently available are January minutes from Liturgy, Revitalize, Finance Council, Social Action, Parish Council, and Faith Formation.

SUSTAINABILITY IN EL SALVADOR: Drought has become a big problem across El Salvador,
making it difficult for farmers to produce enough crops to support their families. But new
farming techniques—and a new generation of young farmers—are making a difference.
What would you do if your livelihood was threatened? How can you support young people
in your community and around the world? Visit crsricebowl.org to watch the Hola, El
Salvador! video to learn more.
Make a donation to your Rice Bowl this week to help Catholic Relief Services provide education and support to farmers as they learn how to deal with environmental changes.
